Slow down.
Together.

Seven faith-rooted dinner guides for Christian families — one for every season, one conversation at a time, all year long.

Your family is not too busy
to slow down.

We know what it feels like. The calendar fills up before you notice. Dinner lasts eight minutes. Everyone's tired. The kids are growing up fast and somehow you're watching it happen from a distance.

We made these guides because the dinner table is still the most powerful place in your home — if you'll protect it. One question. One candle. One habit. That's all it takes to start.

These guides don't ask you to be a different family. They ask you to show up at your table, ask a real question, and see what happens. Again and again, in every season, all year long.

Simple enough for a Tuesday night.

01

Pick your season

Each guide is built for a specific time of year — so you're always starting with a guide that fits where your family actually is right now.

02

Sit down to dinner

No prep required. Pull up the guide on your phone, read the question out loud, and let your family talk. That's the whole method.

03

Try the habit

Each week includes one simple daily practice — something small enough to actually do, meaningful enough to actually stick.

04

Do the challenge

One family challenge per week — a game, an adventure, an act of service. These are the moments your kids will actually remember.

Seven guides. Every season.

What happened when we actually tried it.

"

We asked our kid at dinner: "Do you think Jesus ever hurried?" Long pause. Then: "No. Because he knew God was in control." I didn't have that answer. My child did.

"

We tried a screen-free afternoon. Someone flipped a board game by 2:15pm. By 4:30pm nobody wanted to come inside. The messy middle was real. But so was 4:30pm.

Everything you want to know.

What age kids are these guides for? +
The guides are designed for families with elementary and middle school kids. The questions and activities are written to be accessible at those ages while still being genuinely interesting for adults. Families with younger or older kids have used them successfully too — the conversations go wherever your family takes them.
How much time does each week take? +
The dinner conversation itself takes about 15–20 minutes. The daily habit is designed to take under 5 minutes. The family challenge is usually 30–60 minutes and happens once during the week at a time that works for you. You can do as much or as little as fits your family's season.
What format do I get? How do I access the guides? +
The guides are delivered as HTML files — they work beautifully on any phone, tablet, or computer. You can pull them up at the dinner table on your phone, or print them out if you prefer paper. They're designed to be readable in low light and easy to scroll through mid-conversation.
Do I need to have read the books these are based on? +
Not at all. The guides stand completely on their own. Some of them were inspired by books (like Ruthless Elimination of Hurry and The Anxious Generation) but all the content is original — you don't need to have read anything to use them. We do recommend the books for parents who want to go deeper, but it's never required.
Can I use these at church or in a small group? +
The individual guides are licensed for personal and family use. If you're interested in using them with a church congregation, small group, or ministry, we offer church licensing — reach out to us directly to discuss. We'd love to get these into more families through your church.
What if my family misses a week? +
Pick it back up whenever you can. These guides are designed to be forgiving — missing a week doesn't break the experience. Some families do one guide over a longer stretch than intended. What matters is that you come back to the table. The guide will be there when you do.

Your table is
waiting for you.

Every season has a guide. Every guide has a question. Every question is a chance to know your family a little better than you did yesterday. That's the whole thing. That's enough.
